Tourist visas are valid for 3 months from issue date and it is valid only for stay up to 28 days and cannot be extended.
Important Notice: First time applicants can only apply for a single entry visa.

- First time visa applicants must have a letter of invitation from the government of Myanmar or a letter of invitation from a registered company/sponsor.

Company Letter

- A company letter of intent and financial responsibility (Sample) typed on the company’s stationery stating the following information:
- Introducing the applicant, stating the applicant’s position with the company.
- Purpose of trip and a brief description of type of duties to be performed
- Name of company/contacts
- Financial responsibility for the applicant including return airfare.
- Please address your letter to:

Consular Fee:
A $5 money order or check writing fee will be added to each visa fee.

Please be advised that the shipping fee for some states are slightly higher than the ones mentioned above. Your receipt should indicate the fee differences also the above rates apply to most Continental USA. Higher rate applies to Alaska, Puerto Rico, Hawaii and US Virgin Islands.
