Requirements for Adult Passport Renewal
A fully completed application form DS82 is required. This link directs you to the State Department’s website where you can complete and print your application. The application must be completed online; handwritten forms are not accepted.
Tip – Choose “EMAIL” as your preferred contact method to expedite communication. The government will email you if there are any issues with your documents.
If you are unable to complete your application online, please email the handwritten application to us. We will finish it and email it back for you to print, sign, and send along with your other documents.
- A recent US passport-size photo (2 x 2 inches) taken within the past 60 days.
- The original expired or expiring passport along with any passport cards that may have been issued to you. The expired passport and the card will be returned to you. If you cannot produce your passport card, you must complete the application form DS64 and send a signed copy with your paperwork.
- A fully completed order form for A1 Passport and Visa Express.
The passport fee is $190, plus the A1 service fee. An additional fee of $30 is required for a passport card. We accept checks, money orders, all major credit cards, and debit cards. All card payments are subject to 3% processing fee.
Once ready, your passport will be mailed directly to your home address provided on the application form via regular mail. If you prefer to receive your passport via USPS priority overnight service, please add a fee of $21.36 to the total cost of your passport.
Prior to shipping, please contact us so that we can follow up and ensure delivery. Whenever possible, use FedEx and mark it “No signature required.” This allows the delivery person to slide your package under the door if it arrives before we get to the office. It is perfectly safe to do so.

In order to streamline the U.S. passport renewal process, it is best to complete Step 1 and gather all of the documents before calling our office. Please contact us here with any questions. When you have everything listed under Step 1, we can smoothly guide you through the rest of the process.
Step 1: Collect Documents
Expired or Expiring U.S. Passport book and card
Your expired or expiring passport should be submitted along with your Passport Card if you have been previously issued one in the past. If you’re applying for another passport card, you must send you current one to be submitted to the passport agency, if you are not applying for another passport card, you won’t need to send in your old card. In case that you have lost your passport card and wish to apply for another, you must complete the application DS64 Statement of Lost or Stolen Passport
- Complete online, sign, and print the form DS-82 passport application
Fill out this form online, on the last page click on “print form” then sign and date.

- Download, complete and sign two Letter of Authorization
- Please print and sign 2 copies. This allows our company to act on the applicant’s behalf.
- Important: Check the first two boxes only, be sure to put in today’s date and not your date of birth, also write “A1 Passport and Visa Express” in the “Courier Company Name” field.

Note on travel reservation: The travel itinerary is not mandatory but include it if you have one, this shows that you are committed to travel soon.

Step 3: Shipping and Final Checklist
